Classes 1 to 8,10,11,13 and 1 are open to all supporters of South Molton Market who have brought or sold 4 or more times in the last 12 months. all other classes, unless stated will be open.
CUPS AND AWARDS The Jim Smale Cup for the Best Pair of Ewe Lambs Dobbs, Stagg & Knowlman Cup for the Best Pen of Sheep in the Show. H.J. Parkin Cup for the Best Bullock in the Show. The William Crocombe Memorial Cup for the Most Points in Classes 1 to 14. N.W.F Agriculture Cup for the Best Carcass in Classes 13 and 14. The Brian Webber Memorial Cup for the Most Points in Classes 1 to 9. South Molton Old English Fayre Cup for the Most Points in Classes 22 to 31. Edwards Horticultural Cup for the Most Points in Classes 32 to 41. The Major Sir William Reardon-Smith Rose Bowl for the Most Points in Classes 42 to 50. The JP Williams & Son Cup for the Most Points in Classes 15 to 21. Members of the North Devon Group of Young Farmers Young Farmers Cup for the Best Pen of Sheep in Class 57. The Blakewell Services Cup to the Boy Gaining the Most Points in the YFC Classes. The Blakewell Services Cup to the Girl Gaining the Most Points in the YFC Classes. Points will be awarded in all Classes as follows: 1st 5 2nd 4 3rd 3 4th 2 5th 1 (in classes with more than 5 entries) If an exhibitor wins more than one prize in any class only the highest points will count. No entry fees will be charged, but a donation towards this year’s charity would be very much appreciated. Any donated exhibit or any other gift or pledge will be auctioned of at the close of the Show whose proceeds will go to Devon Air Ambulance Trust.
